QUALOSS at the Seattle Plone Conference
QUALOSS was presented at the Plone Conference held on Seattle (US), October 25th to 27th, 2006
The Plone Conference is the annual meeting of the Plone Community. For the first time it took place in the US and attracted 350 participants from 20 countries, including 100 persons from the EU. The conference is a unique opportunity to be in contact with the open source community and SME.
QUALOSS was presented and the benefits of EU research for the OS Community in general. It was Xavier Heymans, CEO of our industrial partners, Zea, who gave this talk :

- Potential impact for Plone and the Community
- How to optimize the return to the open source community, providers and users ?
- Need and strategy ofr longterm involvement in EU research
The talk was presented twice on October 25th and 27th.
